Doubleview Vet Centre

Our veterinary hospitals have a combined history of more than 50 years of serving the local community and pets. We aim to be a vibrant forward thinking group that maintains high quality service to our clients and their companion animal friends. Both practices appreciate the bond between humans and pets, and are dedicated to provide an environment that supports that bond within the community.

Mount Lawley & Inglewood Vet Centre

It was first acquired by Dr Scott Read in 1992 as a small local practice on Railway Parade. Inglewood Vet Centre was set-up subsequently as a branch clinic. Both practices rapidly expanded and eventually was merged in 1999 and moved to its current purpose-built veterinary premises at the corner of Beaufort Street and Central Avenue in Inglewood. The spacious vet centre accommodates a large waiting room, separate dog and cat hospital wards, state-of-the-art surgical theatre and x-ray facilities, large hospital treatment area, veterinary library for staff and a dedicated office to manage the Your Pet’s Vet Group.

Doubleview Vet Centre

It has been serving the local Scarborough community and its pets for over 40 years. It was first established in 1965 by the late Dr Ian Miller as a branch practice of the newly-built Swanbourne Vet Centre. Dr Miller was subsequently joined by a young Melbourne University graduate Dr Tony Vigano (Patterson) in 1969. Tony became a partner in 1976. When Dr Miller passed away in 1988, Dr Vigano became the sole owner of both centres. Between 1993 and 1997, a state-of-the art surgical theatre, treatment room, x-ray facility and cat boarding ward were added to the original centre. In 2004, Doubleview Vet Centre joined forces with the Your Pet’s Vet veterinary group, one of the largest veterinary care providers in WA. Under the management of new director Dr Scott Read, a new facelift was given to the aging facade of the clinic in 2005, adding colour and vibrancy to the building. Major renovations were also carried out on the waiting area within the centre.
